IFIC Bank PLC has inaugurated a “IFIC Digital Payment Booth” at the Qurbani cattle market adjacent to Dhaka Polytechnic Institute in Tejgaon as part of its initiative to ensure safer, easier, and more efficient financial transactions at Qurbani cattle markets ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.

The digital payment booth was formally inaugurated on Sunday, 24 May 2026, by senior officials of the bank.

Among those present at the inauguration ceremony were Mr Sheikh Akhter Uddin Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director & Chief of Loan Performance Management; Mr Helal Ahmed, Chief of Branch Business ‍& Head of Operations; Mr Aynul Islam Chonchol, President, Cattle Market Management Committee; along with other senior officials from the Head Office of IFIC Bank.

Through this digital booth, customers and cattle traders will be able to avail various digital banking services, including instant account opening, debit card issuance, fund transfer, cash deposit, ATM services, QR payment, POS facilities, and counterfeit note detection services.
