IFIC Bank Stand beside women in Tech Advancement” across the country

IFIC Bank Supports Women in Technology Advancement: Donation of Computers and Books to Bangladesh Female Academy

To promote women’s empowerment IFIC Bank has been running a special campaign titled “ IFIC Bank Stand beside women in Tech Advancement” across the country. As part of this initiative, IFIC Bank has donated two (02) computers and a good number of educational books to the students of Bangladesh Female Academy (BFA), located in Sunamganj. The handover ceremony took place on Monday, 23 June 2025, at the academy’s conference room. Under this campaign, similar donations have already been made to educational institutions in the Chattogram, Barishal, and Khulna divisions.

The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Jamil Chowdhury, esteemed Chairman of the Governing Body of Bangladesh Female Academy, who attended as the chief guest. Also in attendance were Ms. Nazma Begum, Head Teacher of the Academy, along with fellow faculty members. Representing IFIC Bank were Mr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Managing Director & Head of Branch Business; Mr. Md. Abdul Quayum Chowdhury, Manager of the Sylhet Branch; Ms. Fariha Haider, Head of Centralized Retail Marketing Division; as well as other bank officials and students of the academy.

Since 2024, IFIC Bank has been implementing this special campaign with the aim of equipping female students with technological skills and preparing them for a technology-driven future.
