Jamuna Bank Signs MoU with Bangladesh Bank

Jamuna Bank PLC recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bangladesh Bank to implement the Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP) under the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP) for the period of 2025-2027. The Bank will provide training to the emerging entrepreneurs under this program.

The MoU was signed by Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO of Jamuna Bank PLC. and Md. Nazrul Islam, Additional Director, Program Director (PD) of PIU-SICIP on behalf of Bangladesh Bank. Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank Mrs Nurun Nahar was present as the Chief Guest on the occasion. Among others Senior officials from the Ministry of Finance, Bangladesh Bank, Director, SME & Special Program Department and other senior officials were also present at the program.
