B Mirror Desk : On Tuesday, May 13, the third working day of the week, 22 companies engaged in trading on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) block market, with a total of 9.14 crore 18 thousand taka worth of shares exchanged.
Notably, five companies saw the highest trading volumes, as reported by DSE sources. These companies include SEML Laker Equity Management Fund, Beacon Pharmaceuticals, Asiatic Lab, IFIC Bank, and Al-Haj Textile, with total trades exceeding 6 crore taka for these five entities. SEML Laker Equity Management Fund led the trading activity, with shares valued at 2 crore 44 lakh taka transacted on that day.
Beacon Pharmaceuticals followed with shares worth 1 crore 29 lakh taka, while Asiatic Lab ranked third with trades amounting to 96 lakh taka. Additionally, shares worth Tk 9.4 million were traded in Asiatic Lab and Tk 5.7 million in Al-Haj Textile.
