Foreign Desk : AirAsia Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Bo Lingam paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman in Kuala Lumpur on Monday.
The meeting took place at 3:10 pm local time at the Shangri-La Hotel in the Malaysian capital.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed potential investment opportunities in Bangladesh’s aviation sector. They exchanged views on the prospects for expanding cooperation and enhancing air connectivity, according to sources familiar with the discussions.
The courtesy meeting was held as part of the Prime Minister’s visit to Malaysia.
