Central Insurance reports a 20 percent decline in earnings

Central Insurance Company Limited’s board of directors has published its unaudited financial report for the first quarter (January 25-March 25).

During this period, the company’s earnings per share (EPS) saw a decline of 20.37 percent compared to the same quarter last year. The financial report was reviewed and approved during the board meeting on Saturday (May 10), as reported by DSE sources.

The EPS for the first quarter was recorded at 43 paisa, down from 54 paisa in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. Additionally, the company’s net asset value (NAV) per share stood at 53 paisa as of March 31, 2025, compared to 50 taka.
