Sources claim that the Dhaka Stock Exchange’s main index, known as “DSE X,” rose 7.93 points on Thursday, February 20. At today’s market close, the index was at 5,200 points.
The DS30 index fell 3.18 points on this day, while the DSE’s Shariah index, DSES, rose 4.94 points.
Today, shares and units worth Tk 465.69 crore were exchanged on the DSE. Tk 427.13 crore was exchanged on the previous working day.
Today, shares and units of 401 companies were traded on the nation’s primary stock exchange. Of these, 74 companies’ share prices did not change today. 167 businesses saw price increases. The remaining 160 companies’ share prices dropped.
