The income of Shahjibazar Power has decreased

Shahjibazar Power Company Limited, a listed company in the capital market, has released its unaudited financial report for the second quarter (October 24-December 24) ended on December 31, 2024. The company’s earnings per share have decreased slightly in the quarter in question compared to the same period last year.

The company’s board of directors held a meeting on Monday (January 27) to review and approve the financial report for the second quarter of the current financial year. This information was disclosed by DSE sources.

The company’s earnings per share (EPS) in the second quarter of the current financial year was 1 taka 10 paisa. Last year, the same period saw an income of 1 taka 14 paisa.

In the first two quarters of the financial year, i.e. 6 months (July 24-December 24), the company’s earnings per share were 1 taka 46 paisa. Last year, the same period saw an income of 3 taka 38 paisa.

The company’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) as of December 31, 2024 was Tk 39.38.
