The 18th meeting of the Shariah Supervisory Committee of Global Islami Bank was held on January 14, 2025 at the head office of the bank. Shariah Supervisory Committee Chairman Syed Kamaluddin Jafri presided over the meeting. In the meeting, the vice chairman of the committee, Mufti Maulana Muhibullahil Baki, member secretary Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdus Samad (CSAA), Member Maulana Shah Wali Ullah (CSAA), Dr. Mohammad Manjur Elahi, Dr. Muhammad Chaidul Haque, Managing Director (Acting) Ataus Samad of the Bank, Deputy Managing Director Sami Karim and other senior officials and Shariah Secretariat officials were present. In the meeting, strong optimism was expressed to overcome the crisis as soon as possible through the implementation of Shariah-based regulations and Shariah-based regulations in the overall operations of the bank.
