On the first working day of the week, the country’s main stock market, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), ended trading with a downward trend in the price index, with the main index falling 7.55 points.
According to sources, the DSEX’s main index ‘DSEX’ on Sunday (December 7) declined by 7 points. Currently the index is located at 5 thousand 185 points.
In addition, the DSE’s other index, ‘DSES’, fell 1.35 points to 1,165 points, and the ‘DS-30′ index fell 5.19 points to 1,911 points.
Today, the DSE has a shares and units of Tk 1 crore 12 lakh 5 thousand. In the previous working day, the transaction was Tk.Shares and units worth Tk 397.32 crore and 10 thousand were traded on the DSE today. The previous working day, Tk 473.75 crore was traded.
A total of 395 companies’ shares and units changed hands on the DSE on Sunday. Of the companies participating in the transaction, 148 companies saw their prices increase, while 175 companies saw their prices decrease. In addition, the prices of 72 companies’ shares and units remained unchanged.
