A meeting was held with the members of Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAB) at the initiative of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC. The meeting was held at a hotel in the capital on Thursday (November 21).
Islami Bank Chairman Obaid Ullah Al Masud presided over the program, which was addressed by Additional Secretary (Hajj) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Md. Matiul Islam and Joint Secretary Dr. Md. Manjurul Haque, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the bank Md. Abdul Jalil and Chairman of the Audit Committee Md. Abdus Salam, FCA, FCS. Independent Director of the bank Md. Khurshid Wahab was present at the time.
Managing Director of the bank Muhammad Munirul Maula delivered the welcome speech at the program and Additional Managing Director Md. Omar Faruk Khan proposed the vote of thanks.
AKM Mahbub Morshed, Senior Executive Vice President of the bank, spoke about the bank’s various services related to Hajj. Qutub Uddin of Al Qutub Travels, Alhaj Md. Abu Yusuf of Ababil Hajj Group, Md. Mahmudur Rahman of Euro Air and Syed Golam Sarwar of Challenger Travels spoke on behalf of the agency owners. Additional Managing Directors Md. Altaf Hussain and Md. Jamal Uddin Majumder, along with senior executives of the bank and members of the Hub were present at the meeting.
