Janata Bank PLC held its 902nd board meeting on Sunday, September 13, 2026, with Chairman Md Fazlur Rahman CSP in the chair.

The meeting was attended by board directors Abdul Majid Sheikh, Abdul Awal Sarker, Dr Md Shahadat Hossain, Md Ahsan Kabir, Prof Dr A. A. Mahbub Uddin Chowdhury, Khondaker Mamun FCA and Azizun Nahar.

Managing Director Md Mojibur Rahman and Deputy Managing Director Md Foyez Alam were also present at the meeting.

The board discussed various matters concerning the bank, including measures to recover classified and defaulted loans.
