Turkiye will send representatives to Bangladesh reconstruction.

Bangladesh Interim Government Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan talked to Muhammad Yunus on Tuesday (August 27). Dr. The Turkish President congratulated and congratulated Yunus as the head of the interim government.

Deputy Press Secretary of the Chief Adviser Abul Kalam Azad informed this information on Tuesday (August 27).

He said in a circular that while talking on the phone, Turkish President Erdoğan expressed grief over the loss of precious lives in the flood-affected areas of Bangladesh. He said that Türkiye will provide humanitarian assistance to the flood affected people.

Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus thanked the Turkish president, a longtime friend of the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize laureate. He said he and Turkish First Lady Emin Erdogan are members of a high-level UN Zero-Waste Forum. He called for increasing trade with Turkey and said that Turkey needs investment in important sectors including production in Bangladesh, where Turkey is a strong global power.

President Erdoğan said he will soon send a high-powered delegation to Bangladesh to help rebuild the country. He invited the Chief Adviser to visit Türkiye. Professor Yunus accepted the offer stating that he would go to the country at a convenient time. The Chief Adviser invited President Erdogan to visit Bangladesh. He also accepted the proposal.
