Closed fund proceeds deposited into unit holder’s bank accounts

The proceeds from the closure of Vanguard AML BD Finance Mutual Fund One have been distributed to its unit holders, according to the fund’s trustee, Bangladesh General Insurance Company (BGIC) PLC.

The trustee said the payable amounts were transferred to the respective bank accounts of unit holders on August 6, 2026, following the fund’s closure.

The payments were made electronically through the Bangladesh Electronic Funds Transfer Network (BEFTN), based on records maintained by Central Depository Bangladesh Limited (CDBL).

Unit holders were also informed that they will be responsible for any applicable taxes or other financial liabilities related to the distributed proceeds.
