908 crores were traded during the week due to the rise of the index

The first working day of the week ended on Sunday (July 07) with rising indices in the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country’s main capital market. The share price of 305 companies increased. Also, the transaction exceeded 908 crore taka.

This information is known from Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) sources.

According to sources, on this day the main index of DSE ‘DSEX’ increased by 61.38 points and the index stands at 5 thousand 5558 points.

Besides, another DSE index ‘DSES’ increased by 6.11 points to 1 thousand 214 points and the ‘DS-30’ index increased by 13.15 points to 1 thousand 964 points.

Shares and units worth Tk 908 crore 77 lakh 86 thousand were traded in DSE during the discussed period. 770 crore 70 lakh 59 thousand taka was traded on the previous working day.

A total of 398 shares and units of companies were exchanged on DSE today. Among the institutions that participated in the transaction, 305 companies increased in price, while 69 companies decreased in price. And the share and unit price of 24 companies remained unchanged.
