S M Mahbubul Alam, Managing Director of Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC, has been honoured with the ‘MD of the Year Award’.
He received this prestigious award in the ‘MD of the Year (Tech)’ category of the Bangladesh C-Suite Awards-2024, organized by Bangladesh Brand Forum, for his outstanding contribution to the progress of national economy and improve the people’s living standard through manufacturing, marketing and exporting energy efficient and environment-friendly appliances.
S M Mahbubul Alam received the crest and certificate of the best ‘MD of the Year’ from Dr. Ishtiaque Mahmood, Professor of National University of Singapore, at an event titled ‘Bangladesh C-Suite Awards-2024’ held at a city hotel on Thursday evening (December 12, 2024).

Bangladesh Brand Forum initiated the Bangladesh C-Suite Awards in 2022 to recognize and celebrate the achievements of Bangladeshi executive. This year, the authorities received 87 nominations from 33 businesses in 24 categories. The jury board consisting of the country’s leading experts carefully reviewed the nominations and then awarded 22 top personalities of the business sector of Bangladesh.
Before the Bangladesh C-Suite Awards 2024, the 8th Leadership Summit, a flagship initiative of the Bangladesh Brand Forum, was held. Around 350 business leaders, experts and professional personalities participated in the summit.
