Agricultural investment was disbursed among farmers in Chattagram under the initiative of Union Bank Limited based on Shari’ah on Saturday.

A doa mahfil was also organized on this occasion. Chattagram 16 Constituency Member of Parliament Mostafizur Rahman Chowdhury inaugurated the programme regarding the distribution of agricultural investment as the chief guest.

The event was presided over by the managing director and CEO of the bank, B. M. Mokammel Haque Chowdhury.

Bangladesh Bank Chittagong Executive Director A. B. M. Zahurul Huda was present as a special guest.

Banshkhali Upazila Parishad Chairman Chowdhury Mohammad Ghalib Sadli, Union Bank Deputy Managing Director Shafiuddin Ahmed, Banshkhali Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Kamal Uddin, Chittagong Zilla Parishad Member Professor Nurul Mostafa Sikder Sangram, Banshkhali Municipality Mayor Tofail Bin Hosain, senior executives of the bank’s head office, branch managers and sub-branch in-charges of Chittagong, and local dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
