On March 20, 2025, the 24th meeting of the newly constituted Board of Directors of Union Bank PLC was held at the Bank’s Head Office, Gulshan-1, Dhaka. The meeting was presided over by the honorable chairman of the bank’s board of directors Mr. Farid Uddin Ahmad. In the meeting, Chairman of the Risk Management Committee of the Board, Mr. Md. Humayun Kabir, Chairman of the Audit Committee, Mr. Sheikh Zahidul Islam, FCA, Independent Director Dr. Shahidul Islam Zahid, Mr. Mohammad Saiful Alam and Managing Director and CEO of the bank Mr. Md. Humayun Kabir were present. Also Deputy Managing Director Mr. Shafiuddin Ahmed attended the meeting on the occasion. In the meeting, special importance was laid on increasing the bank’s business, deposit and remittance collection and investment. Also instructions are given to speed up the activities of Union Bank Training Institute for human resource development.
