The 56th Board Meeting of the newly formed Board of the Directors of Union Bank PLC. was held at the bank’s Head Office, Gulshan-1, Dhaka on 14 September, 2025. Honorable chairman of the Board of the Directors of the bank Mr. Md. Fariduddin Ahmed presided over the meeting. Chairman of the Board Risk Management Committee Mr. Md. Humayun Kabir, Chairman of the Audit Committee Mr. Sheikh Zahidul Islam, FCA, Independent Directors Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam Zahid, Mr. Mohammad Saiful Alam and Managing Director & CEO of the bank Mr. Mohd. Humayun Kabir were present in the meeting. Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Mohammad Iqbal and Mr. Mizanur Rahman attended the meeting on the occasion. In the meeting, important decisions were taken for the purpose of expanding the bank’s business and improving the quality of customer service.
