Shahjalal Islami Bank Donates Tk. 5 Lac to Oldage Home & Orphanage

As part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC, the Bank donated Tk 5.00 (five) lac to the Greenvally Oldage Home & Orphanage that is an under construction project at Lalpur, Natore, with the aim of providing shelter to the underprivileged & helpless people of the society. The Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, handed over the donation cheque to Md. Alamgir Kabir, the President of Greenvally Oldage Home & Orphanage on 14th September 2025 at a function organized at the Corporate Head Office of the Bank. Among others, the Deputy Managing Director of the bank M. M. Saiful Islam, the SAVP of the Bank Md. Jakir Hossain and the In-Charge of Public Relations Division and Bank Foundation K. M. Harunur Rashid were also present while handing over the cheque.

The Greenvally Oldage Home & Orphanage, which is under construction in Lalpur, Natore, will be the shelter of the orphans and helpless people of the society. The Greenvally Oldage Home & Orphanage is going to be built on two acres of land, where all kinds of modern facilities will be available. This Greenvally Oldage Home & Orphanage will not only be a shelter center, but it will also become an educational center, where the elders will teach the helpless orphans various things with love & affection. The authorities of the institution hope that the orphans and helpless children of the society will one day be established as worthy people in the society through appropriate education and skilled training.
