On the second working day of the week, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the main stock market of the country, finished trading with a positive trend. The main index increased by 67 points. However, the main index fell by 50 points in the previous working day.
According to sources, on Monday (November 11), DSE’s main index ‘DSEX’ increased by 67.57 points. Currently the index stands at 5 thousand 333 points.
Besides, another index of DSE ‘DSES’ increased by 19.78 points to 1195 points and ‘DS-30’ index increased by 23.77 points to 1977 points.
Shares and units worth Tk. 576 crore 56 lakh were traded in DSE today. 559 crores 66 lakhs were traded on the previous working day.
A total of 395 shares and units of companies were exchanged on DSE on Monday. Among the institutions that participated in the transaction, 198 companies increased in price, while 133 companies decreased in price. Besides, the share and unit prices of 64 companies were unchanged.
