The sale of TCB products starts today

Keeping the Eid-ul-Azha ahead, the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) will start selling products at affordable prices to one crore cardholder families across the country starting today (Sunday). TCB informed this information through a press release on Saturday.

According to the press release, the sale of TCB products (edible oil and pulses) at subsidized prices among one crore beneficiary cardholder families at affordable prices is going on. This year’s sale will begin nationwide on Sunday (June 2). This activity will be done by the dealers from the shop/designated permanent place according to the scheduled date and time with full cooperation of the City Corporation and District-Upzilla Administration.

Beneficiaries can purchase a maximum of 2 liters of edible oil, 2 kg of lentils, 1 kg of sugar, and 5 kg of rice. Edible oil will cost Tk 100 per liter, lentils Tk 60 per kg, sugar Tk 70 per kg, and rice Tk 30 per kg.
