The Premier Bank Holds Half-Yearly Business Conference 2026 with Theme “ONWARD & UPWARD”

Embracing the commitment of “ONWARD & UPWARD,” The Premier Bank PLC. successfully held its Half-Yearly Business Conference 2026 today at Fortis Downtown Resort in Dhaka.

The conference was attended by Dr. Arifur Rahman, Honorable Chairman of the bank; esteemed members of the Board of Directors including Syed Faridul Islam, Director and Chairman of the Executive Committee; Md. Sazzad Hossain, Director and Chairman of Risk Management Committee and M Nurul Alam FCS, Director and Chairman of Premier Bank Securities Limited. Also present were Md. Monzur Mofiz, Managing Director of the Bank, members of the Senior Management Team, Branch Managers, and officials from Head Office and Branches.

In his inaugural address, Dr. Arifur Rahman emphasized leveraging the Bank’s strengths, maintaining zero tolerance for corruption and irregularities, and prioritizing the protection of depositors’ funds. He urged all employees to work together with unity and dedication to uphold this responsibility.

In his welcome address, Managing Director Md. Monzur Mofiz outlined the Bank’s strategic priorities, emphasizing deposit mobilization, successful implementation of deposit campaigns, addressing business gaps, ensuring sustainable profitability, and enhancing the operational effectiveness of every branch.

The Bank’s distinguished Directors—Syed Faridul Islam, Md. Sazzad Hossain, and M Nurul Alam, FCS—also addressed the conference. They highlighted the importance of working together as one team to achieve the Bank’s overall goals, emphasizing that team spirit, mutual cooperation, and collective efforts are the key drivers of sustainable growth and long-term success.

During the conference, members of the Senior Management Team delivered presentations on several key business areas, including deposit mobilization, recovery performance, Bangla QR, and agent banking. The presentations highlighted the Bank’s strategic initiatives, business progress, and future action plans. The conference also recognized outstanding business achievements by awarding seven branches with commemorative crests in recognition of their exceptional performance.
