NCC Bank and PKSF Sign Agreement to Expand Financing for Micro Enterprises

To expand institutional financing opportunities for micro entrepreneurs and facilitate easier access to credit, NCC Bank and Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) have recently signed an agreement under the Credit Enhancement Scheme (CES) for the fiscal year 2026–27. Under the agreement, NCC Bank will extend loan facilities to PKSF’s enlisted partner organizations with guarantee support from PKSF. These partner organizations will subsequently disburse the funds to small entrepreneurs across the country, enabling them to access formal financing more easily. The initiative is expected to foster entrepreneurship, create employment opportunities, and contribute to inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

The agreement was exchanged by Md. Habibur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director of NCC Bank PLC, and Md. Fazlul Kader, Managing Director of PKSF, on behalf of their respective organizations. Sharif Mohammad Mahsin, Senior Vice President and Head of SME of NCC Bank PLC, along with other senior officials from both organizations were also attended the ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, the officials expressed confidence that the partnership would significantly broaden the reach of institutional financing for small entrepreneurs across the country. They also noted that the collaboration would strengthen financial inclusion, promote entrepreneurship, generate employment, and support Bangladesh’s sustainable economic development by improving access to finance for underserved segments of society.
