On the last working day of the week, the main stock market of the country, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), ended the trading with a positive trend. The main index increased by 53 points. Besides, the transactions have increased compared to the previous working day.

According to sources, DSE’s main index ‘DSEX’ rose by 53.46 points on Thursday. Currently the index stands at 5 thousand 333 points.

Besides, another index of DSE ‘DSES’ increased by 11.40 points to 1165 points and ‘DS-30’ index increased by 14.66 points to 1900 points.

Shares and units worth Tk 552 crore 75 lakh were traded in DSE today. 470 crore 58 lakh taka was traded on the previous working day.

Shares and units of a total of 398 companies were exchanged on DSE on Thursday. Among the institutions that participated in the transaction, 278 companies increased in price, while 60 companies decreased in price. Besides, the share and unit prices of 60 companies were unchanged.
