Marico Bangladesh declares 1000% cash dividend.

Listed multinational company Marico Bangladesh has declared 1000% interim cash dividend for shareholders. The board of the company declared this dividend based on the audited financial report for the first quarter (April-June) of the current financial year 2024-25. Record date for dividend determination is 25th August. This information is known from the financial report of the company.

Marico Bangladesh was listed in the capital market of the country in 2009. After listing, the company paid 25 percent cash dividend in the financial year 2009. After that, the company paid 20% cash dividend in 2010, 25% in 2011, 100% in 2012 and 150% in 2013. Marico Bangladesh declared 900 percent cash dividend in the financial year 2014. Since then, the company has paid high dividends every year. Out of this, 425% in 2015 accounting year, 450% in 2016 accounting year, 500% in 2017 accounting year, 600% in 2018 accounting year, 650% in 2019 accounting year, 950% in 2020 accounting year, 900% in 2021 accounting year, 800% in 2022 accounting year and 750% in 2023 accounting year. The company announced. The board of the company has announced to pay 200 percent cash dividend to the investors in the last financial year 2024.

According to the data, Marico Bangladesh’s earnings per share (EPS) for the first quarter of the current financial year stood at Tk 54.78 paisa, compared to Tk 42.18 paisa in the same quarter of the previous financial year. At the end of June 30, the company’s net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at 315 taka 42 paisa.

Marico Company’s EPS for the financial year 2024 ended March 31 was Tk 146.23 paisa, compared to Tk 122.93 paisa in the previous financial year. At the end of March 31, NAVPS of the company stood at 260 taka 64 paisa.
