Since trading began on Tuesday, February 25, the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the nation’s primary stock market, has been rising. The majority of companies’ share prices rose during today’s trading.
The primary DSE index, ‘DSEX,’ has risen 39.88 points to 5,274 points in the one and a half hours since trading began, or until 11:30 am, according to DSE sources.
Conversely, the ‘DS-30’ index has risen 8.47 points to 1,934 points, and the Shariah index ‘DSES’ has risen 6.45 points to 1,175 points.
Up until this morning, shares and units valued at Tk 263.98 crore were traded on the DSE. Out of the companies that traded, 222 saw an increase in share prices, 109 saw a decrease, and 55 saw no change.
