Mansur Alam, Pabna: A training workshop titled “Regional-based Cultivation, Processing, Conservation and Marketing of Herbal Plants in Bangladesh” was held in 2025.The day-long event, organized in three stages – discussion, training session and certificate distribution – was inaugurated at 10:30 am on Sunday, April 27 at the Banalata Party Center on the 3rd floor of the Maya Complex in Thana Rede.The event was held under the joint initiative of the Medicine Plants and Herbal Products Business Promotion Council and the Bangladesh Unani Medicine Industry Association under the Ministry of Commerce of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

Pabna Medical College Principal Professor Dr. Ruhul Quddus delivered the speech as the chief guest.

The special guest speakers were Moazzem Hossain Badal, General Secretary of the Herbal Product Cosmetic and Dietary Supplement Manufacturers Association of Bangladesh, and Md. Rokonuzzaman, Drug Supervisor of the Drug Administration Pabna District Office.

Hakim Rezaul Karim, President of Bangladesh Unani Medicine Industry Association, delivered the welcome speech. After that, the organizers welcomed the guests with flower bouquets.
