On Sunday, December 22, 2024, the 43rd (1st of the newly formed committee) meeting of the Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of Union Bank PLC. was held at the bank’s head office under the chairmanship of Dr. Abu Noman Mohammed Rafiqur Rahman Madani. The meeting was conducted by the member secretary of the committee Professor Dr. Hafiz Muztaba Riza Ahmed. In the meeting member of the committee Mufti Dr. Md. Anwar Hosain Molla, Maulana Eyaqub Sharafati and Professor A. N. M. Rashid Ahmad were present at the meeting.
The meeting approved the unaudited financial statements of the bank as on 30.09.2024. Besides, a policy related to agricultural investment and Shari’ah audit report of 21 branches after review were approved.
