Starting on Monday, February 10, the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) will offer five items, including bottled soybean oil, at reasonable pricing. By waiting in line, any customer can buy these goods from trucks. TCB provided this information in a notification on Sunday, February 9.
TCB reported that families using Smart Family Cards are still able to purchase TCB items (edible oil and pulses) at discounted rates. Additionally, TCB goods such dates, chickpeas, sugar, pulses, and oil will be offered for sale to the general public via mobile trucks throughout Chittagong and the capital, Dhaka. Any customer can stand in line to buy goods from trucks. On February 10, goods will begin to be sold on mobile trucks.
A maximum of two liters of soybean oil, two kilograms of chickpeas and lentils each, one kilogram of sugar, and five hundred grams of dates can be purchased by one individual. As a result, the cost of soybean oil will remain at 100 taka per liter. TCB will charge 70 taka per kilogram of sugar. lentils and chickpeas at 60 taka and dates at 156 taka per kilogram of sugar.
