Tangail Municipality Launches Renovation of Seven Vital Roads

Mrinal Tangail Correspondent: The upgrade of seven major roads in Tangail Municipality has officially begun. The Deputy Commissioner, Sharifa Haque, inaugurated the development work on Wednesday morning. During the event, she directed all relevant parties, including the Municipality Administrator, to guarantee the highest quality in the renovation efforts. The seven roads undergoing renovation include: 1. The road from the west end of Stadium Bridge to Kashem Primary School Bridge and Mess Market, measuring 1.7 km; 2.

The road from District Sadar Road to Victoria Road (Club Road), which is 172 meters long; 3. The road from Banka Mia Bridge to Bajitpur Hat Khola, spanning 2.14 km; 4. The road from Banka Mia Bridge to Swapna Super Mall (Fire Service Road), with a length of 250 meters; 5. The road from Dighulia Bridge to Beparipara, measuring 460 meters; 6. The road from Boro Kalibari to Alia Madrasa, which is 530 meters long; 7.

The road from the west side of Thanapara Chayani Pond to Bajitpur Textile Intersection, spanning 490 meters. Shihab Raihan, the Deputy Director of Local Government and Administrator of Tangail Municipality, also mentioned that the budget for various developmental projects has been approved, and all roads will be renovated and developed in phases. Present at the inauguration were Tangail Municipality Executive Officer Anisur Rahman, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate T, M, A, Mukit, President of the Press Club Advocate Zafar Ahmed, representatives from the contracting organization, distinguished individuals, and relevant municipal officials.
