B Mirror Desk : Dr. Anisuzzaman Chowdhury, Special Assistant to Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, is scheduled to visit the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Sunday, May 18.

During this visit, he will meet with senior DSE officials and stakeholders to discuss matters concerning the stock market. Stakeholders have indicated to Finance Business that the meeting will address the demand for the removal of the BSEC Chairman. Previously, Dr. Anisuzzaman had planned to visit the DSE on May 6, but was unable to do so.

He will now proceed with the visit tomorrow as rescheduled. Upon his arrival at the DSE, Dr. Anisuzzaman is expected to engage in two distinct meetings. The first will involve discussions with senior DSE officials regarding the current market conditions, followed by a dialogue with various capital market stakeholders. After these meetings, he will tour the DSE office.
