Sonali Bank PLC is providing Education Scholarship-2023 among 850 poor and meritorious students of secondary & higher secondary level from countrywide under the Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) activities. A total of 60 students from Dhaka district were awarded the scholarship at the Scholarship Award Ceremony held at the conference room of bank’s head office on Tuesday, September 16.

The Chairman of Sonali Bank PLC, Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury handed over the Scholarship money among the students as chief guest. Secretary of Ministry of Social Welfare and Director Dr. Mohammad Abu Yusuf, Director Mohammed Jahangir Alam, Md. Mofazzal Husain, Tariqul Islam Chowdhury attended the function as special guests. MD & CEO of Sonali Bank, Md. Shawkat Ali Khan presided over the function.

Among others, Deputy Managing Directors, General Managers, Deputy General Managers, related officials and guardians of students were present in the occasion as special guest. Principal offices in district level will provide rest of scholarships to poor and meritorious students through organizing programs.
