Aftab Feni Correspondent: Sonagazi Press Club election: President Shahid, Secretary Rahim, Treasurer Hedayet
Md. Shahidul Islam (Destiny) has been elected president, Abdur Rahim (Jugantar) general secretary, and Hedayet Ullah Bhuyan (Ajakker Bashundhara) treasurer in the Sonagazi Press Club elections in Feni.
As per the previously announced schedule, on June 30, the last day for withdrawal of nominations, there was only one candidate, and the convener of the election sub-committee declared them elected.
Elected to other positions were Vice Presidents Ilias Sumon (Banglabazar Patrika) and Nurul Alam Mohabbat (Natun Alo Pratidin), Joint General Secretaries Russell Chowdhury (Feni Som) and Mohammad Ilias Mollah (Bhorer Dak), and Office and Publicity Secretary Abdur Rahim Rubel (Feni Swasthya Kotha).
The executive members are Syed Monir Ahmed (Bhorer Kagoj), Obaidul Haque (Dainik Dhaka/Janapriya),
Mehrab Hossain Mehedi (Daily Industry), Nantu Lal Das (Natun Alo Pratidin), Gazi Mohammad Hanif (Swadesh Pratidin), Zahirul Haque Khan Sajeeb (Daily Nabchetna), Aftab Hossain Momin (Bangasambad/Business Mirror), M. Nasir Uddin (Daily Khabarpatra), Shahidul Islam (Swadesh Pratidin) and Kamal Uddin (Daily Ajeyo Bangla).
