SK trims are back in production.

SK Trims and Industries Limited, a listed company, has resumed production after a 14-day shutdown. The company’s factory started production from last Saturday (September 21).

According to sources, earlier the company’s board of directors decided to stop production at the factory on September 7.

Earlier, on June 25, Bangladesh Bank’s Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) froze the bank account of SK Trims. After that, Bangladesh Bank lifted the freeze on July 10 when exporters, workers and investors requested to talk about their interests.

However, on the recommendation of the ACC, the Metropolitan Judge and BFIU froze 9 bank accounts on July 11. The High Court stayed the order on September 18. Which was effective till 20 October.

However, the company stopped their production on July 7. The production activities of the company resumed from September 21 as the complications related to the bank account freeze were over.
