A Business Review Meeting of Social Islami Bank PLC, operating under Sammilito Islami Bank PLC, was held on July 4, 2026 at Bangladesh Bank Rangpur Office with the participation of 17 branches from the Rajshahi-Rangpur Region. The meeting was graced by the Bank’s Administrator, Mr. Md. Abul Bashar as Chief Guest. Associate Administrators Mr. Asadul Mustafa, Mr. Hammada Abdul Ati, Dr. Mohammad Bozlul Karim and Ms. Rowson Akter attended the program as Special Guests. Heads of various divisions from the Head Office alongwith Branch Managers, Operation Managers and Investment Officers of the participating branches were also present. The meeting placed special emphasis on the recovery of classified investments, increasing investment in the CMSME and agricultural sectors, expanding import-export and other non-funded businesses and strengthening remittance inflows and deposit mobilization.The participating branches were also instructed to take all necessary legal measures to expedite the recovery of classified investments and to ensure the effective management of ongoing legal cases by making the highest level of effort on behalf of the Bank.
