Shahjalal Islami Bank organized a Seminar for Female Participation

Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. organized a Seminar on ÒFemale Participation in Financial Sector & Female Right” in 28 June, 2025 in it’s Uttara Branch Dhaka. The Managing Director of the Bank Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed was Chair while Mr. Md. Iqbal Mohasin, Director, Financial Inclusion Department of Bangladesh Bank was present as chief guest in the program. The program was attended by about forty number of female participants of different branches of the bank. The speakers of the seminar mainly focused on the importance of women in participating financial sector side by side with male.  Present status of gender equality and female right was also highlighted in the program. It was opined that there is no alternative to female financial literacy for development of future Bangladesh.

Among others the Deputy Managing Director & CRO of the Bank Mr. M. M. Saiful Islam, the EVP of Risk Management Division Mr. Mohammed Abu Shayem, the Manager of Uttara Branch Mr. Mohammad Abu Hanif, the Manager of Mirpur Branch Mr. Nazir Ahammed, the manager of Garib-E-Newaz Branch Mr. Muhammad Asiful Haque, the Manager of Uttarkhan Branch Mr. A. B. M. Mahfuzul Alam, the Manager of Pallabi Branch Mr. Syed Jane Alam and the Manager (CC) of Tongi SME/Krishi Branch Mr. Shah Alam Miah were also present in the workshop.
