Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC launches Mobile App “ShahjalalTouchPay” to provide fast and easy banking services to its’ customers
Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC officially launched the Mobile App “ShahjalalTouchPay” on 30th July 2025 with the aim of providing fast, secure and easy banking services to its’ customers. From now the customers of the Bank can download the App on both iOS and Android platforms and perform banking activities. From 4th August 2025 a customer will be able to download this app from the Google Play Store/App Store and conduct all his banking activities from home/abroad without visiting any bank branch. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank, Mr. A. K. Azad was present as the chief guest and formally inaugurated the Mobile App “ShahjalalTouchPay” on 30th July 2025 at the corporate head office of the bank. The Managing Director of the bank Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed presided over the program.
Among others the Vice-Chairman of the Board Mr. Mohammed Younus & Mr. Mohiuddin Ahmed, the Directors Mr. Akkas Uddin Mollah, Mr. Khandaker Shakib Ahmed, Mr. Fakir Akhtaruzzaman, Mr. Md. Moshiur Rahman Chamak, Mrs. Jabun Nahar, Independent Directors Mr. Nasir Uddin Ahmed & Mr. Md. Reazul Karim were present in the meeting. Besides, the Additional Managing Director of the Bank Mr. Imtiaz U. Ahmed, the Deputy Managing Director Mr. M. M. Saiful Islam, the Company Secretary of the Bank Mr. Md. Abul Bashar, the CFO of the Bank Mr. Md. Jafar Sadeq, FCA and the Head of the IT Division & Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Mrs. Khandker Bedoura Mahbub were present in the program.
The application is designed to offer secure, user-friendly, and technologically advanced digital banking services to its customers.
