In response to the report titled ‘BATBC’s CSR money gone, those involved
sacked’ published in Business Mirror on 29 September 2024, a BAT Bangladesh
spokesperson denied all allegations presented and said:

Mubina Asaf resigned voluntarily from BAT Bangladesh in April 2023. BAT’s
Standards of Business Conduct requires all staff to act with a high degree of
business integrity and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
