After remaining shut for more than two and a half months, the third tile production unit of listed company RAK Ceramics Limited is set to resume operations.

The ceramic manufacturer disclosed the information on Sunday (December 28) through the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).

According to the disclosure, RAK Ceramics has a total of four tile production units. While operations at the third unit were suspended, the remaining three units continued production.

As per the company’s earlier announcement, production line-3 was shut from October 8 to December 30 for maintenance of machinery and equipment.

Under the latest update, the third unit will return to production after the completion of the scheduled maintenance work.
