Rajbari human chain and demonstration calling for the release of a businessman

Md. Nazrul Islam, Rajbari District Correspondent: In Rajbari’s Baliakandi, a human chain program was organized to seek the release of a businessman who had been falsely accused.

On Tuesday morning, the Narua market in Narua union of Baliakandi upazila hosted this human chain activity for traders and market dwellers.

Grocer Samchul Alam’s father, Sadek Ali Biswas, wife, Jotsna Begum, mother, Sahida Begum, Jahangir Biswas, Jannati Begum, Tipu Sultan, Alam Sheikh, and Rana Biswas talked during the hour-long human chain in front of about 300 men and women from the Narua market on the Baliakandi-Pansha route.

The speakers said that the opponent hanged the grocer Samshul Alam Biswas with weapons and grenades in the land dispute last Saturday morning. There was a dispute over the land for a long time. In this dispute, the administration was framed by keeping weapons and grenades in his kitchen. We strongly condemn and protest this incident. Along with this, we demand the speedy release of Samshul Alam and subject to fair investigation, the culprits are brought under the law.

A protest march was taken out after the human chain. In the procession, more than 300 women and men circled the various roads of Narua Bazar. Meanwhile, I am demanding fair trial and unconditional release of Shamsul Alam’s wife, children and mother.
