Pubali bank launches ‘colours of bangladesh’ art initiative

Pubali Bank PLC has launched a special art initiative titled “Colours of Bangladesh” to showcase the creativity, unique perspectives and artistic talents of children with special needs.

As part of the initiative, selected artworks created by the children will be featured in Pubali Bank’s 2027 calendar.

Children aged 13 to 18 studying at specialised or special education institutions across Bangladesh will be eligible to participate. The artworks may focus on three themes: the nature of Bangladesh, the country’s seasonal diversity and native flowers.

A total of 12 artworks will be selected from the submissions. Each of the 12 selected young artists will receive a cash prize of Tk 50,000 from Pubali Bank PLC.

The deadline for submitting artworks is September 10, 2026. Participants must submit their artwork along with the prescribed participation form and required documents to the Public Relations Cell, Pubali Bank PLC, Head Office (13th Floor), 26 Dilkusha Commercial Area, Dhaka-1000.

The participation guidelines and application form are available at:

Pubali Bank said the initiative aims to provide children with special needs with a broader platform to express their creativity and artistic abilities while bringing their talents to wider public attention.

The bank has also called on specialised education institutions, families and the media to help spread information about the initiative so that children from different parts of the country can participate.
