Alongside its significant contribution to the national economy, Pubali Bank PLC remains committed to fulfilling its social responsibilities—particularly in the health sector. As part of this commitment, the bank has extended a financial donation of Tk. 50 (Fifty) Lac Gonoshasthaya Kendra.

Mohammad Ali, Managing Director & CEO of Pubali Bank PLC. formally handed over the payment order to Shireen Parveen Huq, Chairperson of Gonoshasthaya Kendra recently in a modest ceremony held at the bank’s Head Office. Deputy Managing Directors – Mohammad Esha and Ahmed Enayet Manzur were also present at the event alongwith other senior executives of the bank and Monika Rani Sarker, Director (Finance) of Gonoshasthaya Kendra.

Since its founding in 1972, Gonoshasthaya Kendra has been operating as a charitable trust dedicated to providing quality and affordable healthcare to the general public. Its “Gonoshasthaya Dialysis Center” is the largest kidney treatment facility in the country, currently serving an average of 250–270 patients per day. The center operates uninterruptedly in four shifts, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

In addition to its core banking services, the bank has long been engaged in various social development initiatives, including education, healthcare, environment, and disaster management.
