A special campaign aimed at raising awareness about women’s health has been organized as a joint initiative between IFIC Bank PLC and Shakti Foundation. Formalizing the initiative on Thursday, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was exchanged at IFIC Tower in Purana Paltan.

The special campaign, titled “Project Her Power,” will be held across IFIC Bank branches and uposhakhas to enhance health awareness among the bank’s women customers.

Mr. Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, DMD and Chief of Branch Business of IFIC Bank PLC and Mr. Md. Shariful Islam, Senior Director and Head of Administration of Shakti Foundation, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. The signing ceremony was also attended by IFIC Bank’s DMD’s, Mr. Md. Monitur Rahman, Iqbal Parvez Chowdhury, K A R M Mostafa Kamal as well as Shakti Foundation’s Health Program Head of Operations Mohammad Kamruzzaman, Senior Manager Mr. Nilufa Yeasmin and senior officials of both organizations.
