BM Desk :Â US Trade Representative Ambassador Jameson Greer and Bangladesh Trade Advisor Sheikh Bashiruddin met Thursday at 11 a.m. local time at Greer’s Washington, DC, office. There have reportedly been advancements in the two parties’ discussions about the tariff issue.
At the meeting, the two nations’ high-level delegations talked about topics of shared interest, particularly bilateral trade relations, ongoing tariff discussions, and commerce between the US and Bangladesh. Both parties restated their resolve to cooperate for the good of both.
The Chief Advisor’s Press Wing sent out a press release announcing this. The second day of a three-day session of tariff talks between the United States and Bangladesh came to an end Thursday in Washington. Nearly every significant facet of the two nations’ commercial relations was discussed in detail.
The Bangladeshi delegation in Washington, DC, was led by Trade Advisor Sheikh Bashiruddin. Dr., the National Security Advisor, participated online from Dhaka. Faiz Ahmed Tayyab, the Principal Advisor on Information Technology and Telecommunications’ Special Assistant, and Khalilur Rahman.
The meeting took place in Washington, DC, and included senior representatives from the Ministry of Commerce. Leaders from USTR, Agriculture, Labor, Environment and Natural Resources, Treasury, Innovation and Intellectual Property, and Investment Agencies were among the US departments that took part.
