Progati Life will sell KAY&QUE shares.

Pragati Life Insurance, the corporate shareholder of KAY&QUE (Bangladesh) Limited listed in the capital market, has announced the sale of 68 thousand 640 shares of the company. Abdul Awal Mintu, Tabith Awal and Tasfir M Awal are directors of both the companies.

According to the latest unaudited financial report, K&Q’s consolidated earnings per share (EPS) for the first three quarters (July-March) of the current financial year 2023-24 stood at Tk 2.45 paise, as against 36 paise in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. And the company’s consolidated EPS for the latest third quarter (July-March) stood at Tk 1.26 paise, compared to 11 paise in the same period of the previous financial year. At the end of March 31, the company’s consolidated net asset value per share (NAV) stood at Tk 92.98 paise.

The company paid 3 percent cash dividend to investors in the financial year ended 2022-23. The company’s EPS for the current financial year stood at 32 paise, as against 59 paise in the previous financial year. At the end of June 30 last year, the NAV of the company stood at 76 taka 13 paisa.

K&Q has not paid any dividend to investors for the financial year 2021-22. In the current financial year, the company’s EPS stood at 59 paise, as against 92 paise in the previous financial year. For the financial year 20120-21 ended June 30, the company paid a dividend of 5 percent to shareholders. The last price of the company’s shares was 250 taka 50 paisa on DSE yesterday. The lowest and highest prices of the company’s shares were Tk 196.30 and Tk 286.80 paisa respectively in the last one year.
