Prime Bank recognized in ‘Sustainability Rating 2024’

Prime Bank PLC has once again received recognition from Bangladesh Bank in the esteemed Sustainability Rating 2024, marking the third consecutive year of this honor.
This ongoing acknowledgment underscores Prime Bank’s robust and unwavering dedication to sustainability, especially in domains such as green refinancing, sustainable core banking practices, and corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Bangladesh Bank launched the Sustainability Rating in 2020 to motivate banks and financial institutions to incorporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into their operational frameworks.

The rating evaluates five essential indicators: the Sustainable Finance Index, CSR initiatives, Green Project Financing, the Core Banking Sustainability Index, and Banking Services Coverage.

By excelling in these vital areas, Prime Bank continues to enhance its status as a progressive financial institution committed to fostering sustainable development and environmental stewardship within Bangladesh’s banking industry.
