Prime Bank partners with British Council to boost diversity and inclusion

Prime Bank PLC and the British Council in Bangladesh have entered into a strategic partnership to strengthen learning, professional development and employee empowerment while extending exclusive benefits to its customers ranging from young learners to adults. This reinforces both the organisations’ commitment to building a more inclusive, empowered and future-ready workplace.

The partnership is a significant milestone under Prime Bank’s Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Committee’s ongoing initiative to create an enabling workplace where every employee has equitable access to learning, growth and development opportunities. By investing in people, the Bank aims to equip its employees with the skills, confidence and global exposure necessary to make a greater impact in their professional responsibilities as well as in their personal lives.

The agreement was signed recently at Prime Bank’s corporate office in Dhaka.

Under the partnership, Prime Bank employees will benefit from exclusive access to the British Council’s internationally recognised learning solutions, including specially curated programmes focused on communication, leadership, workplace effectiveness and professional skill development. In addition, Prime Bank customers including members of Women Banking, Neera and Student Banking will also enjoy exclusive offers on selected British Council services, further extending the Bank’s commitment to creating meaningful value beyond traditional banking.

The signing ceremony was attended by Faisal Rahman, Chief Executive Officer of Prime Bank PLC; M. Nazeem A. Choudhury, Additional Managing Director; Shaila Abedin, SEVP & Head of Diversity & Inclusion, along with members of Prime Bank’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Representing the British Council were their team of English and Examinations department including Robin Clark, Chief Revenue Officer,; Zunayed Ahmed, Head of Market – Bangladesh, ; Tahnee Yeasmin, DirectorBusiness Development,; Shehrin Shibly, Head of Business Development- Business and Education,  alongside senior officials from both organisations.
