Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has increased the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders for the month of January. According to the new announcement, the price of a 12-kg cylinder has increased by four taka.

The new prices were announced in a notification on Tuesday (January 14), which will be effective from this evening.

According to the announcement, the price of a 12-kg cylinder at the consumer level has been fixed at Tk 1,459, which was fixed at Tk 1,455 at the beginning of the month.

In addition, the price of gas per kilogram, including VAT, at the consumer level at private LPG retail points has been set at Tk 121.56, and the price of gas supplied in liquid form through the reticulated system has been set at Tk 117.81.
