On Thursday, January 1, a special prayer and supplication (Doa and Monajat) was held at Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation (BHBFC) Head Office mosque in the capital following Johor prayers, to mark the passing of BNP Chairperson, former Prime Minister, and uncompromising leader Begum Khaleda Zia.
During a brief discussion preceding the supplication, Mr. A.S.M. Abdul Halim, Chairman of the BHBFC Board of Directors and Advisor to BNP Chairperson, and Mr. Md. Abdul Mannan, Managing Director, shed light on Begum Zia’s long, uncompromising struggle for democracy and the emancipation of the people.
A large number of officers and employees from all levels of the organization, including BHBFC Deputy Managing Director Mr. Md. Noor Alam Sardar, participated in the prayer session.
